Alioto’s Locations

There are four separate locations on our property, each with a tantalizing selection of fresh seafood including Dungeness crabs, shellfish, shrimp salads and variety of other delicious food options choose from.

Alioto’s Restaurant- Located on the third floor, Alioto’s fresh seafood is served charcoal grilled or griddle-fried. Or choose from Alioto’s Sicilian specialties that have been passed down the family. A favorite is Cioppino, a spicy tomato shellfish stew created by the restaurant’s founder, Rose Alioto. Or a Sicialian mixed grill, seafood cannelloni, shellfish risotto, or artichoke and arugula salad. Alioto’s San Francisco favorites include lightly pan-fried calamari that is unsurpassed, crab cakes, cracked crab, and homemade clam chowder. These dishes continue to be favorites of visitors and locals alike.

Alioto’s Private Dining Banquet Rooms - Located on the second floor, Alioto’s has two private banquet rooms which remain a premier destination for groups ranging from 12-45 people. The same delicious food is available as the main dining room, adorned by the same magnificent view of the San Francisco Bay. Treat your guests to a private party with delectable customized menus.

Alioto’s Crab Stand – Located on the first floor, make this the one stop destination for all of your fresh whole or cracked crab needs. Since 1925, Alioto’s has been serving fresh Dungeness crab on the sidewalks of San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. You’ll enjoy the expert crab crackers cooking fresh cracked crab served with San Francisco’s world-renowned sour dough bread and refreshing beverages.

Alioto’s Waterside Cafe - Located on the first floor, Alioto’s Waterside Café is reminiscent of an Italian Trattoria. This restaurant offers a spectacular Bay View, indoor and outdoor dining, table service, and a menu featuring excellently prepared fresh seafood, pastas, salads and sandwiches, homemade clam chowder, and desserts. Alioto’s is famous for its Dungeness crab, so be sure to indulge in this local treat either on a Crab Louie Salad, or prepared Wharf style, Cajun style, Asian style and more.
